7th grade HW#9 1.30.2019

Read this article about plants that can cause sunburn and other skin irritation and answer the following questions in complete sentences:

1. About how often does Robin Gheris treat lemon-induced sunburns during the summertime? WHAT is the explanation for this?
2. What does phytophotodermatits mean? 
3. GIVE 2 other examples of phytophotodermatitis.
4. EXPLAIN how the sun's radiation and psoralens are related.
5. Use your knowledge of plant adaptations to come up with a reasoning these plants evolved chemicals that irritate the human skin. (In other words, how is having these chemicals advantageous to these plants?)
