ALL GRADES distance learning 4.6.2020

TODAY and TUESDAY you will be getting organized for the following few weeks in science class. You will need to understand how to use the following 3 online platforms:
  • TED-ed
  • Google hangouts
  • Google forms
You have 2 tasks to complete today to show Ms. Hubbard you have become familiar with the TED-ed website. The tasks are listed below. NOTE: your work will save to the TED-ed website, so there is no need to send a google doc or a photo today! Wahoo!

TASK #1: Create an account on Ted-Ed
1. Go to ed.ted.com and create an account. You should choose register in the upper right corner. (Look for the green arrow in the picture below).
2. Register your school email and go to your email to confirm your account.
3. When you confirm your account via email, make sure you sign up as a student. (See the picture below). You can click whatever you want for "I'm interested in learning about."

4. Scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN and click the red button that says Continue to TED-ed.
5. This is all you need to do to get started!

TASK #2: Complete a TED-ed lesson
1. Click here to take your first TED-Ed practice lesson. You will need to watch the video and answer the questions under the THINK tab and DISCUSS tabs. (See picture below). There are 5 total questions.
COMPLETE THIS TED-ED LESSON BY 11:59p on TUESDAY, APRIL 7th! THIS IS A PARTICIPATION GRADE AND ALL CLASSES ARE DOING THE SAME LESSON!
If you have trouble getting this done due to technology issues, please email Ms. Hubbard or text by 11:59p on Tuesday, April 7th!
