Directions for this project:
1. READ about each of the methods of heating your home in the space below. Before you begin your house design, CLASSIFY each source of heat as an example of: conduction, convection, radiation OR both (be specific which two you are referring to). You may work with your color group on this part!

Wood stove
Forced air/ gas burners
2. Each color group has been gifted a plot of land to build a vacation cabin on. You will need to consider the climate of your area before determining which heating system you want to use in your dream vacation cabin. Although you may talk with each of your group mates about the vacation home design, each person needs their own, unique design. The assignments are as follows:
Purple team - Portland, Maine
Green team - Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Yellow team - Asheville, North Carolina
Orange team - Appalachicola, Florida
Blue team - Forks, Washington
Red team - Taos, New Mexico
